Mrs. Tamica Campbell Hughes
Tamica Campbell Hughes is a 1995 graduate from Lucy Ragsdale High School. When she graduated, Tamica was a single teen mom, but she was determined to graduate high school.
Through the help that she received from Youth Focus, Inc., Tamica was able to graduate and to attend GTCC's cosmetology school. She’s been a licensed Cosmetologist since 1997 and the co-owner of Pink Kotur Hair Salon in Greensboro, NC.
Tamica knows the firsthand struggles that teen moms often face while trying to parent and finish school. Consequently, in April 2019, she started the Nonprofit, Level Up Parenting, to transform the mindset of teen moms by instilling in them enrichment opportunities that teach them how to excel at parenting and much more.
