Our nonprofit organization has been blessed to receive funds and

donations to help us impact the community.

Our Ribbon Cutting occurred on July 21, 2023, and our Grand Opening occurred on July 22, 2023. Thank you to all those who came out to celebrate Level Up Parenting.

• Level up parenting collects gently used clothes for women and children. Single moms in the community can come and sign up to shop at Niko‘s Closet and get items that they may need such as gently used shoes and clothes.
• Families in need are welcome to come at least once a month.
• Level Up Parenting also has diapers and wipes.

• We have three diaper drives a year and we collect diapers to give out in the community to single moms who are in need. 
• The community donated 3,174 diapers and 3,722 wipes for our last diaper drive .

• We received help from businesses in the community to help us feed 3000 meals to families in the south side of Greensboro. 
• We gave masks, hand sanitizers, gently used clothes and other essentials for families.

Level Up Parenting has an eight-week parenting course which began on August 28, 2023. Our parenting course focuses on how to be a parent and adapt to a newborn baby, breast-feeding and its benefits, birth control, and daily living and coping skills. Also, money managing, Snap, EBT, and food benefit card, job readiness and interviewing, computer literacy, and more. Learn More.

 Level Up Parenting offers a scholarship exclusively designed for teen moms attending Guilford County School. This scholarship, valued at $1,000, presents a valuable opportunity for eligible applicants. Learn More.

• Guilford County Cares Grant - First grant received; able to impact the community through partnership with New Hope Community and Saint Phillips AME Zion Church.
• S&S grant for apparel T-shirts for our nonprofit volunteers, as well as the board members.
• Beta Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. (Target 3) mask and Christmas adoption of teen moms.
• Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. donated $4500.
• Amazon Smiles
• We also receive the safety makes cents grant for $1000.
• Operation Warm (192 kids coats granted)

Level Up Parenting was extremely excited about this year’s grant received from American Rescue Plant Funding for $53,000. As a result, we launched a pot garden project in May 2023. Single moms are welcome to come and get a free vegetable plant. Learn More.
